Chaos Dwarves

Any team can hire mercenary players. These are players from your team roster, but they cost 30K gold coins more. Mercenary players retain the player type to which they belong. It is not possible to hire a mercenary who would exceed the maximum number of players allowed for a particular position on the team (excluding players missing the next match). Mercenaries automatically gain the Loner (4+) trait in addition to their usual skills and traits. Mercenaries can receive a single primary skill at a cost of 50K. It is not possible to recruit the mercenary at the end of the match.

For the duration of the match, for each keg of Blitz Premium purchased, apply a +1 modifier to the roll each time you roll to recover a knocked-out player.

Each additional training session grants an additional Team Reroll for the duration of the match.

A team that has purchased a wandering apothecary may use it once per game in the same manner as a regular apothecary.

You can use a bribe when a player is sent off after attempting to argue the call. When you use a bribe, roll a D6. On a 2+, the player is not sent off (and no turnover occurs). On a natural 1, the referee pockets the bribe but still sends the player off.

For the duration of the match, apply a +1 modifier to the roll each time you roll to recover a knocked-out player. Once per match, after the teams have been placed but before kickoff, you may remove D3 from your players and re-place them according to the usual rules. A team that hires Josef Bugman cannot hire Josef Bugman as a Star Player.

When an opposing player commits a foul, if they have not been sent off, roll a D6: on a 5+ the player is immediately sent off. In addition, each time you attempt to challenge the decision, apply a +1 modifier to the roll. A natural 1 always counts as “Outta Here!”

• Fireball

At the end of a team's turn. Target 1 square, and roll 1D6 for each Standing player (from both teams) occupying the target square and adjacent squares. On a roll of 4+, players are “Tackled” and suffer an AV roll with a +1 modifier to the AV or Injury roll (chosen after the dice roll).

• Zap!

Immediately after the end or at the beginning of an opponent's turn, before any actions are taken. Designate 1 player and roll 1D6. If the roll is >= the player's ST or a natural 6, they are turned into a frog (M5, ST1, AG2+, P-, AR5+, Dodge, Leap, No Hands, Stunty, Titchy, Very Long Legs) until the end of the Drive. If they were carrying the ball, it is dropped and bounces away. If a roll on the Elimination Table is required, the frog suffers is Badly Hurt instead, but is removed from the game before regaining its original form.

At the start of each half, before kickoff, roll 3D6. For each 4+, the team gains an additional team re-roll for the half, and the opposing team loses a team re-roll for the half (excluding re-rolls provided by skills, traits, and other special rules).
